(Because one didn't seem to have started this year, and I admit to wanting very much to participate in one of these challenges!)
Presenting the Three Sentence Ficathon 2016!

The Steps:
1. Prompt the fandom/pairing/situation of your heart, preferably in the following format: fandom, character/pairing, prompt word/sentence. .
2. Find a prompt by someone else (or heck, your own) that catches your interest.
3. Fill the prompt in no more than three sentences. (NB: This is really more of a guideline
4. Revel in reading the (hopefully large) amounts of fics thereby produced.
5. PROFIT!

Any, any, It's the little things that matter

He's been gone for nearly a month, dealing with the colonies and trying to maintain peace despite the still-looming threat of war. As he swoops back into the palace, tired and worn, he passes something to her - more small blades, sharp and smooth and sliding into the concealed slits in her newest dress (partially a going-away gift, partially because her stomach is swelling with the Heir Apparent) like they were made for the purpose. It's little things like this, where Zuko finds something so perfectly her to give to her as a consolation/apology, that she falls in love with him all over again.

Oh! I love this! He is full of thoughtfulness at just the right moments sometimes.

Adam's pretty sure Blake's deliberately trying to drive him out of his mind.

It's little things - Blake's thumb sliding just under the hem of Adam's shirt when he hugs him; Blake's lips close enough to brush Adam's ear as he leans in to be heard over the roar of the crowd; Blake's hand at the small of Adam's back as he walks past, and sliding just a touch lower than would seem strictly platonic - small and subtle clues.

There's nothing subtle at all about the way Adam lunges at Blake later backstage, pushing into his space and knocking him off balance with a bold, forceful kiss; and nothing subtle at all about the way Blake recovers after a single stunned instant, grabbing Adam and reversing their positions, pushing him up against the wall and kissing him until he can't breathe.
